Step into the world of fashion design in Sew Fab!, a creative March Break camp where campers will learn both hand and machine sewing while creating inspired projects focused on up-cycling and revamping old clothing. They will make their own stylish jean purse, elastic-waistband skirt, and quilted, embroidered T-shirt, transforming old jeans and fabric scraps into fabulous fashion creations. Along the way, campers will explore fashion sketching, design techniques, and textile manipulation. Join us for a week of fun, fabric, and fashion where creativity and confidence shine!
Supplies Note: Students should bring a pair of old jeans to upcycle.
All other materials included.
Also included with each March Break camp is a ticket for the camper, their instructor and camp counsellor to attend the English version of the Shenkman/MIFO theatre co-production of 176 Steps on Thursday (March 19) from 10am to 11am!
