This class covers the fundamentals of charcoal drawing, perfect for both beginners and those looking to refine their skills. We’ll explore mark-making, light and shadow, and how to build depth through layering and erasing. Whether you're new to charcoal or looking to push your drawing further, this course gives you the space to experiment, observe, and see your subject in a whole new way. Registered students have access to password protected recordings of each lesson. This class is taught via Zoom with the Ottawa School of Art.
