Description

The Beaver Hall Group was the first Canadian artist association in which women played a central role. The group included wonderful painters such as Emily Coonan, Prudence Heward and Lilias Torrance-Newton. The Group of Seven’s A.Y. Jackson and Edwin Holgate were also prominent members. Whether your interest is in portraits, the figure or landscapes, join us for two inspiring days in the company of this delightful group of artists.
In each session, David will be demonstrating key aspects throughout and participants will be able to create a painting from scratch or equally, bring along a work-in-progress. Individual coaching will be provided and participants are welcome to use the medium of their choice. Appeals to realist, impressionist and modernist painters alike.
Oil, acrylic, watercolour and pastel artists are all welcome!

Bien que l’atelier se déroule en anglais, un suivi individuel en français est possible.
