Don't Worry, Just Paint!, Ages 13 - 15, Sat, 1 - 4 pm

Description

If you are afraid to paint, or if you love to paint, this class is for you. Drawing fundamentals like light and shadow, composition, quality of line and creating texture will be practiced and applied to different kinds of painting. Watercolour, acrylic and pastel painting techniques will be explored. We will work with coloured pencils and fine line markers to explore colour composition and colour theory. Subject matter for your art will be suggested but you are free to work with your own content and ideas. We will have one session with a model and a short field trip to look at paintings.
