Are you interested in portrait painting? Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner, this course is designed for everyone. Students will explore methods for creating realistic portrait paintings in oil. Experimentation is encouraged to develop our art and unleash our creativity. This course includes live model sessions, copies of old and contemporary master paintings, and a personal portrait to engage and challenge students. Throughout the course, we will focus on value, tone, and colour harmony. Both alla prima and indirect methods will be practiced.
